Polymarket has secured an exclusive licensing deal with Major League Soccer (MLS), marking a significant step in blending prediction markets with sports fan engagement. The agreement designates Polymarket as the official partner for MLS All-Star Game, MLS Cup, and Leagues Cup, positioning MLS as a pioneer in leveraging prediction analytics for fan interaction.
Soccer United Marketing (SUM), MLS's commercial arm, will collaborate with Polymarket to develop real-time digital experiences. The initiative focuses on enhancing live match engagement through second-screen content, capturing fan sentiment during critical moments. "Fans want deeper involvement as soccer's U.S. audience grows," said Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan, highlighting the partnership's potential to redefine sports spectatorship.
